FULL-TIME STUDENTS - SEPARATE TIMETABLE

  TUITION FEES: 

   Fees are payable per term - usually 10 or 11 weeks in advance. 

       Term dates align with  NSW State School Terms.

       Costs:  These are based in the length of class, grade level,

        number of classes taken each week,

         

       Students MUST enrol for 1 OR MORE ballet classes per week from 3 yrs of age,

       as well as their choice of Jazz/ Hip Hop, Contemporary,Pilates & Tap

     Ideally, all students from Gr.2 level should attend at least 2 BALLET classes a week as dance needs repetition and practice

            

  SPECIAL RATES for   **Exam Packages, Unlimited  Classes Packages,

  Advanced Coaching & Full-time training Courses.

ROYAL ACADEMY OF DANCE EXAMINATIONS ARE NOT COMPULSORY however - 

to maintain the high standards & reputation of the Studio, students wishing to enter for Royal Academy Exams must be prepared to enrol for the EXAM PACKAGE.   (These packages are considerably discounted when compared to individual class fees)

Students who do not participate in the Exam Packages  will receive the same training in the classes they attend but their progress will naturally be slower.   Reinforcement of technique & practice is essential for satisfactory progress.!!        

Non-exam students progress to the next Grade at the discretion of Miss Fiona. and after the ANNUAL IN-HOUSE ASSESSMENT by the Faculty. 

The success of this system over the past 11 years

is shown in the excellent results received by ALL OF OUR RAD EXAM ENTRANTS  (Grades & Vocational) while at the same time not putting pressure on students who have a lesser committment or just do not want to do exams.

 

UNLIMITED CLASSES PACKAGES are for students who wish to attend 4 Classical classes per week as well as 1 each of Contemporary, Jazz, Lyrical & Pilates at the INTERMEDIATE & ADVANCED LEVELS -  (evenings & Saturday mornings only).  Fees on application - up to 12 hours per week.

ADVANCED COACHING PACKAGE  is for students who are contemplating becoming professional dancers or teachers and who are able to attend some of the early week- day classes with the Full Time Students and well as evening & Sat. classes. Fee structure discussed on application. - from 12 to 18 hrs per week.   INTERMEDIATE & ADVANCED LEVELS ONLY.

EXTENSION PROGRAM -  FOR STUDENTS FROM OTHER STUDIOS IN THE NORTHERN NSW REGION (with their current teacher's written permission). Students of Intermediate & Advanced levels may augment their local teacher's classes by attending, a half day or more of the Full-time or Advanced Coaching Course and also The Dancers Company.  This is a preparatory step for serious students who may be contemplating a career in dance but who want to finish their Academic Studies at home before taking on the Full-Time course. 

FULL TIME STUDENTS are selected  or by Private Audition and must be of ADVANCED levels.  Fee structure discussed on application.  From 20 to 25 hrs. per week. including Academic Dance Subjects i.e. History of Dance, Anatomy, etc.etc.  Full time students become soloists of The Dancers Company and usually go on to complete their training at prestigious Company's schools in Europe and Australia.

All of the above packages are GREATLY DISCOUNTED from the listed fees shown below with the hourly fee between $9 to $12 dollars.     Only really committed students should consider these packages.

There is an Annual Enrolment Fee of $25 to cover Students Public Risk Insurance & Music Royalties.  This must be paid on THE FIRST DAY OF ATTENDING CLASSES.  Student will then be enrolled and their term's fees account will be generated.

STANDARD LISTED CLASS FEES: 

 Base fee is approx. $16 per hour  - i.e. 

Tiny Tots & Pre-primary  1 x 3/4 hr. class -  $120 per 10 week term  =  $12 per class

   Grade 1 -    $125 per 10 week term    1 hr. including supervised warm-up _ =  $12.50 per class

Grade 2  -   1 lesson per week  $135 per 10 week term                                 =  $13.50 per class

                       2 lessons per week $245 per 10 week term (exam program)   =   $24 per week

Grds. 3,4 & 5  - 1 hr classes includes supervised warm-up & Sat. Theory  

                            1  lesson per week  $145 per 10 week term                           =  $14.50 per week

                            2 lessons per week $265 per 10 week term                           =  $26.50 per week

                            3 lessons per week $375 per 10 week term (exam program)= $37.40 per week

Inter F to.Adv.2 -  up to 4  ballet classes per week- (exam package fee on request) 1.5 hr. classes

Jazz, Lyrical, Pilates,Contemporary -  Fees on application. (depending on how many other classes being taken between $12 to $15 per class if not included in Unlimited package)       

Unlimited Number of Classes for Intermediate & Advanced including all Classical Ballet & all Modern Styles (Fees on Application) - equivalent to approx. $10 per class - afternoon & Saturday classes ONLY -does not include Advanced Coaching and Full-time courses. (approx. 12 hrs. per week) 

 Private Lessons $35 per 1/2 hr   $60 per hr.  Only available to enrolled students. (payable weekly)
